Dom Mirando

Dom Mirando is a pop and R&B singer, songwriter, and producer from Robbinsville, New Jersey. Known for his vocal range and agile runs, Dom builds his music around strong vocal hooks and straightforward, emotional storytelling. His sound is heavily shaped by classic vocal powerhouses, most notably Mariah Carey, alongside artists like JoJo, Tori Kelly, Ariana Grande, Whitney Houston, and Lady Gaga.

Dom started singing when he was just two years old. Growing up, music was equal parts obsession and escape. Navigating childhood moves, bullying, and feeling like an outsider in school, he turned to singing and later theater to connect with people. He spent his early years doing stage shows like You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown & Camp Rock: The Musical, singing in school choir, and training at local arts camps. In high school, after singing Mariah Carey’s "All I Want For Christmas Is You" at a school pep rally and watching the gym go crazy, he knew performing wasn't just a hobby, it was what he wanted to do with his life.

While studying at Rowan University, Dom took a major leap forward as a creator. Going through a big breakup pushed him to stop just singing covers and start writing, producing, and recording his own material. Today, he runs every part of his music independently. Beyond writing and arranging his vocals, he produces on all of his tracks, engineers his vocals, and designs all of his cover art and visual concepts.

Since releasing his first original single, "Just Run With Me," in 2022, Dom has built a growing catalog that covers all sides of relationships and personal growth. His releases range from the heartbreak of "Someone New" and the frustration of "Why Not Try?" to the self-assured "Right for Me" and his spooky, theatrical Halloween track, "He's Gonna Get Ya." His sister, Dani, is a frequent collaborator, adding background vocals across several releases, including his comeback single "Ready For It" which dropped in 2023. His dedication to vocal technique has even caught the eye of industry pros, including some of his own influences.

After rebranding in 2024 to focus on higher production quality and a more intentional release pace, Dom has been performing across New York and New Jersey venues and festivals. He’s currently finishing his self-titled debut album, Dom Mirando, led by the single "Just Run With Me." The project pulls together everything he’s built so far... his vocal ability, personal songwriting, production style, and sense of humor with a simple goal: making music that gives listeners the same comfort and safety his favorite artists gave him growing up.
